Clean Bandit’s exuberant blend of electro, hiphop and classical music is a highly original fusion which has recently brought them to the forefront of the British Music Scene.

The initial bulk of the group were part of a string quartet called the Chatto quartet which gives credence to Shiry’s statement: “All musical inspiration derives from Bach”. However, Ssegwa and Wandeck had completely contrasting musical influences and directions in the form of jazz and hiphop.

Clearly, the combination is dynamite.

They have only released a couple of songs at this point (featured below), but not a full album… let’s pray it will be out pronto!
